A business delegation from Ukraine was hosted in Imathia Tuesday, during the period 23-25 June 2015. More specifically, Mr. Simonenko Oleksandr (FRESH TRADE LLC), Zakharchuk Vitalii (Invita Group) and Novytskyi Vitalii (Ecoland LLC) visited the cooperatives: AES AL.M.ME, A“NEOS ALIAKMON” MMOS A/C, MESI A/C, MELIKI A/C, EPISKOPI NAOUSA A/C, EPISKOPI NAOUSA ASOP, NAOUSA ASEPOP, “DIMITRA” VELVENTOS A/C.
It is worth noting that the above importers of fresh and canned fruit activate in Lvov city and control the market of Western Ukraine, which has not been considerably affected and is developing substantially better than the rest of the country, regarding financial and commercial sector.
Both sides, producers and importers, expressed the desire to further continue strengthening of the current trade relations. At the same time, orders were updated for the current period, as the European peach produced in Greece is one of the most sought after products of the Ukrainian market.
The organization and coordination of the visit was made by NOVACERT, the Implementing Body of the European program “Information and promotion actions of peach in third countries (Russia, Ukraine, Norway)” under the title “Think Peach”.
